
The 36th Annual Meeting of the Microscopical Society of Canada / Société de Microscopie du Canada will be held this summer at the University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada, from June 17 to 19, 2009. Scientists form PHAC, the University of Manitoba, and the rest of Canada will be attending this three-day conference.
The scientific program will feature tutorials, poster presentations, lectures, and a round table discussion on maintaining a modern microscopy facility. Invited speakers will be presenting in biological and material science sessions, as well as interdisciplinary sessions. The presentations will feature a wide range of microscopy-based applications, ranging from basic science to cutting edge research.
