Intérêts de recherche

Pathogénie, prévention et épidémiologie de virus nécessitant un niveau de biosécurité élevé et de virus émergents, comme le virus Nipah, le virus de la fièvre hémorragique Crimée‑Congo et le coronavirus du SRAS. Développement d’outils et de protocoles diagnostiques.

Exemples de projets

1. Paramyxoviruses (virus Nipah et Hendra, virus de la maladie de Carré) : a) Étude des mécanismes moléculaires utilisés par les virus pour pénétrer dans les cellules. b) Conception et développement d’inhibiteurs de certaines étapes de cycle de réplication des virus. c) Identification des facteurs déterminants de la neurovirulence.

1. Virus de la fièvre hémorragique Crimée‑Congo : Étude de la transmission du virus par des tiques entre divers mammifères hôtes.
